A quiet corner of the Adriatic to call home.

Sika Apartments is a small, family-run home for travellers — four apartments lovingly looked after by the Sikavica family. Three sit in the heart of Split’s UNESCO old town, just steps from Diocletian’s Palace, the Riva, and the Pjaca. The fourth opens onto the quieter rhythm of Solin, beside the Roman ruins of ancient Salona. Whichever you choose, you arrive to keys in hand, a personal welcome, and someone who actually lives here to ask anything you need.

How it all began

Like a lot of stories from this coast, ours started simply: with one apartment, one couple of guests, and a desire to share the place we love. Word spread, more guests came back, and over the years we expanded — always one apartment at a time, always renovated with our own hands and an eye for what travellers actually need. Today we host guests from all over the world, and the philosophy hasn’t changed: comfort, cleanliness, and the kind of personal attention you only get from people who genuinely care.

What makes a stay with us different

• Local owners, real welcome. When you book with us, you’re talking to the people who live here, not a call centre. We’ll send your PIN ahead of arrival and gladly point you to the bakery, beach, or quiet corner most guidebooks miss.
• Two prime locations, four distinct apartments. Whether you want to step out the door into Split’s old town buzz, or wake up minutes from the ancient ruins of Salona, we have a home for you.
• Modern comfort, authentic charm. Air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchens, and crisp linens — paired with the timeless feel of Dalmatian living.

Our apartments

All three of our Split apartments share the same beautifully restored building at Ćiril-Metodova 36, a short stroll from Diocletian’s Palace, the Riva waterfront, and Pjaca Square:

• Apartment Sika Split — spacious two-bedroom retreat with two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and private parking. Perfect for families or two couples travelling together.
• Apartment Dujka’s Balatura — bright, modern, and finished with a charming little terrace ideal for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
• Apartment Baštun — a stylish blend of contemporary comfort and authentic Dalmatian character, ideal for couples who want to be in the heart of everything.

In Solin, just a few kilometres from Split, you’ll find:

• Apartment Sika Solin — a sleek, modern one-bedroom apartment at Ulica Petra Hektorovića 46, only a short walk from the Salona Archaeological Park and a quick drive to Split’s main attractions.

Why Split — and why Solin?

Split needs little introduction: a UNESCO-listed Roman palace turned living, breathing city, with markets, music, beaches and ferries to islands you’ll dream about long after you go home.

Solin is Split’s quieter, deeper-rooted neighbour. Here you’ll find Salona — the ancient capital of Roman Dalmatia — almost entirely preserved as an open-air park you can wander at your own pace. It’s the perfect base if you want both the city’s energy and a calm corner to come home to.
